MOHAWK VALLEY - Nancy E. Chrisman, 86, of Akron, NY, passed peacefully into eternal rest, on September 5, 2024.
Nancy was born on December 18, 1937, in North Columbia, New York, the daughter of Elden and Urilla (Sitts) Brown.
Nancy graduated from High School, in Herkimer, New York and then went on to Plattsburgh State University, earning a degree in Home Economics.
Nancy married George Chrisman, in 1959 and went on to be a Home Economics teacher in Ohio and New York, Host of the Farm & Home Hour television show, on WKBW, in Buffalo and Executive Director of The Dairy Council. She was also a member of The DAR and Augustan Society.
She is survived by her daughter, Kellie Colf; son-In-Law, Donald Colf; Granddaughter, Sara Colf; and many extended families.
Preceding Nancy in death were her husband George; and her sister, Shirley.
Visitation will be held Monday, September 16, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. and the Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m., at the Enea & Ciaccia Family Funeral Home, 4309 Acme Road, in Ilion, NY. Interment will be immediately followed, at Cedarville Cemetery, in Cedarville, NY. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation, Funeral Service and Burial Service to follow on Monday.
