Mildred Greenslete

Mildred Greenslete, 79 of the Palatine Nursing Home, and formerly of 153 Main St., Fort Plain, passed away on Thursday April 6, 2006 at the nursing home. She was born October 8, 1926 in McKinley, NY the daughter of the late David & Ann (Smith) Westerman and was educated in Fort Plain schools. Her marriage to Andrew Greenslete took place on July 4, 1949. Mildred was last employed at the former Nelsons Laundry on Hancock St., in Fort Plain. Mrs. Greeenslete was a member of the Fort Plain Methodist Church. Mildred was a member of the Fort Plain Eastern Star and was a former Matron. She loved traveling with her husband and the members of the Eastern Star to many locations throughout the country. Survivors include her husband of 56 years, Andrew, 2 sons, Mark Greenslete and wife MaryAnn of Albuquerque, New Mexico & Paul Greenslete and wife Judy of St. Johnsville, and 2 grandchildren Alissa and Michael Greenslete. In keeping with Mildred?s wishes funeral services will be private and held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the direction of the Enea Family Funeral Home, 9 Center St., St. Johnsville, NY.
