Michael D. Garramone

UTICA – Michael D. Garramone, 53, passed away unexpectedly, on March 10, 2024. He lived his life courageously and loved his family with all of his heart.

He was born on January 11,1971, the son of Louis and Nancey (Furney) Garramone. He was educated in Utica. Michael had his struggles and demons in his short life, but he truly loved others. He had a huge heart and when he was his true self, he was kind, generous and above all, a loving person and amazing Dada. He will be missed by so many who truly loved him.

Michael leaves behind his beloved children whom he loved dearly, Drake Garramone, Emma Garramone (“Myrtle”); his stepson, Geoffrey Raehm (Liz), and their mother, Michael’s partner, Jennifer Randall.

He is also survived by his Mom, Nancey Koury (Tom); his siblings, Julie Talerico (Mike), Angel Woolheater (Rich), Louis Garramone (Julie), Barb Feddersen (Bob), Mindy Zorowitz (Andrew), Francis Koury (Kelly), Natalie Garramone and Rachelle Garramone; his best friend, Luis Garcia; his Godmother, Joanne Stonge; his Godchild, Jennifer Peck; his Nana, Sue Randall; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends.

Mike was predeceased by his father, Louis Garramone, Jr.; his maternal and paternal grandparents; and his fishing buddy, Ken Furney.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Mike’s Memorial Service and Celebration of Life, which will take place at St. Mark’s Church, North Utica, at 11:00 a.m., on Saturday morning, March 16, 2024.
