Melvin Dwight Raney

Ilion/Lancaster CA – Mr. Melvin Dwight Raney, age 69 of Ilion, passed away Monday Jan. 29, 2018 at Bassett Healthcare in Cooperstown .

He was born in Bessemer , Alabama the son of the late Melvin and Gladys “Frances” (Talcott) Raney. He served with the United States Navy, Vietnam Era. He is survived by his daughters Tiffiny and her husband Tom, Bridget and her husband Jerry, and Lisa; grandchildren, Thane, Quinton, Brianna, Cameron, Matthew and Sean, his sisters, Doris, Donna and her husband Bob, Pamela, and Valarie, and a brother Ronnie and his wife Bambi.
