LITTLE FALLS – Melissa Janine Loomis, age 53, passed away on February 11, 2024, in the privacy of her home after a lengthy battle with multiple illnesses.
Born on November 4, 1970, Melissa was the daughter of the late Larry Hall and Barbara (Balderston) Hall. She was raised and educated in Dolgeville, graduating with the Dolgeville High School Class of 1988. She went on to further her education at Herkimer County Community College.
At one time, Melissa was married to the late Harley Loomis. She worked at various places in Little Falls, including Nice-N-Easy, Ruggerio’s and lastly at East End Steakhouse as a prep cook. In her spare time, Melissa enjoyed crafting jewelry.
She is survived by her mother, Barbara Hall of Dolgeville; her children, Ashley, Adam, Dustin and Forrest; her brothers, Eric (Beckie) Hall and Benjamin Hall; her grandchildren, Jackson, Myla, Willow, Dustin, Lincoln and Sally; her best friend, Marcella Harris; her nieces, Emma and Christine; her nephew, Michael; and her beloved pet, Maggie.
Melissa’s family will have a Celebration of Life for her at a date and time to be announced. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to the Enea Family Funeral Home, 24 West Monroe Street, Little Falls, NY (315) 823-2424.
