Maude Michaud

HERKIMER-Maude "June" Michaud, 79, a resident of Valley Health Services for the past several years entered into eternal rest on Sunday morning, August 10, 2008 in St. Elizabeth's Medical Center, Utica. She was born on August 17, 1928 in Worcester, Mass., daughter of the late George L. and Madeline (Starks) Michaud and was educated in Worcester schools. She was last employed with the U.S. Government as a computer programmer. June belonged to the Order of the Eastern Star and was of the Protestant faith. Survivors include her nieces and nephews: Cynthia Evans of Utica, Christine Michaud of Cleveland, Stephanie Moffatt of Herkimer, Jeannette and Dan LaBreche of Fairfield, many great nieces and nephews; and an in law: Martha Sirois-Wood of Fairfield. She was predeceased by a brother: David LeRoy Michaud. There are no public calling hours. Cremation will take place under the direction of the Enea Family Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held on Friday, August 15, 2008 at 5 p.m. in the Light Room of Valley Health Services, Herkimer with Captain Steve Griffin of the Salvation Army, officiating. Interment will be held at the convenience of the family. The family would like to acknowledge the staff of Valley Health Services, Herkimer for their patience, care and concern.
