Mary Williams

Mrs. Mary G. Williams, age 76, of 415 First Avenue Extension, Frankfort, passed away on Tuesday April 27, 2004 at Faxton Hospital in Utica. She was born on January 8, 1928, in the town of Frankfort; daughter of the late Albert J. and Amalie (Novack) Greshle and was educated in Frankfort schools. She had been a lifelong area resident. Mary was united in marriage with Frederick R. Williams, who passed away in 1987. Mary had worked for many years as a secretary with Remington Arms in Ilion. She was an avid bowler, and had dedicated herself to the needs of her family. She is survived by her children: Diana Miller & husband Jeffrey of Lansing, Kansas; Kathy Welch and husband James of Frankfort; and Frederick "Dion" Williams and his fiancee Dawn of Nelliston; brothers: Albert Greshle & wife Marge of Charlottesville, NC; and John Greshle and his wife Nancy of Anderson Island, Washington; and grandchildren: Christa & husband Dan Grunewald; Laura Miller; Andrea, Scott, & Dan Welch; Julie Ryan; and Adriene Williams; 9 great grandchildren; and In Laws: Walter & Ellie Williams of Texas, along with several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Funeral services will be held on Monday May 3, 2004 at 9:30 AM from the Enea Family Funeral Home, Main Street Between Frankfort & Ilion, and at 10:00 AM at Our Lady Queen of Apostles Church, Frankfort, where her Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated.
