Mary Whittaker

Mrs. Mary J. Whittaker, age 84 formerly of Riverside, CA and most recently residing with her daughter at 226 W. Monroe St., Little Falls entered into eternal rest on Saturday evening, August 2, 2003 in Little Falls Hospital. She was born on April 10, 1919 in New York City a daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Powers) White and received her education in New York City Schools. She had resided in California for 23 years until moving to Little Falls. She married Patrick Whittaker in New York City. He passed away on Feb. 22, 1988. She was last employed by Charles and Company as a sales clerk and worked as a floor manager for Macy?s on 34th Street in New York City at one time. She was of the Catholic Faith. She leaves a daughter, Deborah and husband Dan Bush of Little Falls, a brother Timothy White and wife Dena of Riverside, CA, a sister Anna Rogers of Pleasantville, NY, two grandchildren, Garrett Petraia and wife Juliana of Yonkers and Toni-Anne Johns and husband Luke of Little Falls, many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by four brothers, Joe, Frank, Jim and Tommy White. There are no public calling hours. Cremation will take place under the direction of the Enea Funeral Home, Little Falls. Friends and relatives are invited to attend a memorial service will take place on Friday, August 8, 2003 at the Blessed Sacrament Church, Main Street, Mohawk at 12 Noon with the Rev. Mark Cunningham, officiating. Final interment will take place in California.
