Mary Valentine

Mary Joan (Yaworski) Valentine, 85, formerly of Van Hornesville passed away on Monday evening, November 11, 2002 at the Alberta Hospital, in Ponoka, Alberta, Canada. She was born a daughter of the late John and Anna Yaworski on November 27, 2002 in Van Hornesville. She was educated in Owen D. Young Schools. She has resided in Canada for the last 55 years and was of the Orthodox Faith. She is the mother of the late Lawrence J. Pabes, Sr. and leaves three brothers, Steve Yaworski of Herkimer, Mike Yaworski and wife Georgia of Pa., and Walter Yaworski of Van Hornesville, four sisters, Helen Sadlon and husband Steve of Ilion, Joan Wilson of Little Falls, Kate Sadlon and husband Paul of Little Falls, and Nancy Hugick and husband Bernie of Mohawk, two grandchildren, Lawrence J. Pabes and wife Shirley of Mohawk and William M. Pabes and wife Susan of Little Falls, three great grandchildren, Larry Pabes, III, Billy and Abigail Pabes. She also leaves many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Ann Ostacz and Olga Pavlot. There will be no public calling hours and cremation has taken place in Canada. Friends and relatives are respectfully invited to be with the family to celebrate Mary's life on Thursday morning, November 21, 2002 commencing at 11 am at St. Mary's Cemetery, Town of Herkimer.
