HERKIMER: Mary Rose Stuber, 92, passed away on Monday, August 26, 2013 at Little Falls Hospital.
Born in Utica on June 10, 1921, Mary Rose was the daughter of the late Louis and Magdaline Pinto. Raised and educated locally, she graduated from St. Mary of Mount Carmel School, Utica. On June 10, 1950 she married John E. Stuber with whom she was devoted to until his passing on January 3, 2001. Mary enjoyed the outdoors and she and her late husband loved to fish.
She is survived by her step daughters, Diane Taylor of Buffalo, Carol Able and husband Richard of Durhamville, Mary Lou Martin of Herkimer and several grandchildren.
A graveside service will take place on Friday, August 30, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. in St. Mary's Cemetery, Town of Herkimer where she will be laid to rest next to her husband John. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Enea Family Funeral Home, 220 North Washington Street, Herkimer, NY 13350 (315)866-1011 and are under the direction of Harry J. Enea.
