Mary Rinaldi

Mary F. Rinaldi, 91, formerly of Hinman Road, Mohawk, died Sunday, Nov. 26, 2006, at Valley Health Services, Herkimer, where she resided. She was born on Dec. 8, 1914, in West Galway, NY, the daughter of Howard and Frances (Harris) Parks. In 1949, she was married to Leo J. Rinaldi. He died on Oct. 22, 1989. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Leo and Deb Rinaldi of Spinnerville; her grandson, Richard Rinaldi and wife Michelle of Mohawk; her great-grandchildren, Richie and Megan Rinaldi; her sister, Laura Caldwell of Hudson Falls, N.Y.; several step-grandchildren, step-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, parents and brother, Josiah Parks. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 29, 2006, at the Applegate & Day Funeral Home, 102 West St., Ilion, with Father Mark Cunningham, pastor of St. Francis de Sales Church, officiating. Interment will be held at the Mohawk Cemetery on Vickerman Hill. Visitation will be Wednesday from 1-2 p.m. prior to the service.
