TOWN OF FLOYD – Mary L. McCauley, age 52, of Soule Road, Town of Floyd, formerly of Remsen and Poland, NY, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, June 5, 2017, at home.

She was born on August 20, 1964 in Rome, NY, the daughter of Eric and Nancy (Thayer) McCauley, and attended Poland schools.  At one time, she was married to Dennis Clark.

Surviving family members include her children, Dennis Clark, Jr. and his wife, Alicia, of Poland, Natasha Clark and her fiancé, Joe Kimball, of Sauquoit, Eric Clark, at home, in Floyd, and Mark Clark and his fiancée, Carrie Bush, at home, in Floyd; Mary’s fiancé for the past 27 years, Tim Day, with whom she resided in Floyd; 5 step-children, Douglas and Jody Day, Theresa Hulbert, Tim Day, Jr., and Crystal O’Connor; 4 grandchildren, Brianna Clark, Wyatt Kimball, Logan Clark, and Dakoda Clark, and several other grandchildren; 3 sisters, Ann Foster, Suzette Gillette, and Linda Lawson; 5 brothers, Allen, James, Kenneth, David, and Eric McCauley; aunts, uncles, many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, June 8, 2017, from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., at the Applegate-Day & Enea Family Funeral Home’s larger facility located at 4309 Acme Rd. (old Main St.) between Ilion and Frankfort.

Mary’s Celebration of Life and Prayer Service will be held immediately following calling hours at 5:00 p.m. Thursday, at the funeral home on Acme Road.
