Mary H. (Lozo) Dick

ILION – Mary H. (Lozo) Dick, age 87, formerly of Ilion, Saratoga and Florida , passed away on Sunday, October 20, 2019, at Folts Home, Herkimer.

She was born on February 2, 1932, in Ilion , the daughter of William “Sonny” Lozo and Helen (Dykeman) Lozo.  Mary graduated from Annunciation School and Ilion High School , in 1950.  In 1997, she was married to William “Tom” Dick, in Florida .  He died on December 29, 2002.  Mary was employed at the Empire State College, in Glens Falls , NY , for many years.  She was a gifted seamstress.

Surviving family members include her daughter, Laurie Archer and Steve Lockwood, of Windsor , NY ; 3 grandchildren, Stephen and Allison Lockwood and Jeremey Moore; 2 great-grandsons, Wyatt and Grayson; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was predeceased by her husband, Tom; her son, Johnny Willems; and her sister, Pat Sims.

In keeping with Mary’s wishes, there will be no public calling hours or services.
