Mary Loucks

Mary Loucks 87 formerly of Parkside Courts, Dolgeville, died Friday, January 19, 2007 at the Folts Home in Herkimer where she had been a resident since December 2006. She was born on September 19, 1919 in Carnegie, PA, the daughter of Wasil and Mary (Chanas) Polivka and was educated in schools in the Hopson District, town of Salisbury. Mary was an inspector at Plant 1 at the Daniel Green Shoe Company of Dolgeville retiring from there several years ago. She is survived by her Sister Anna Amadon of the Folts Home and nine Nieces and Nephews and their families: Pat VanDerwerker of Palatine Bridge, Susan Schumacher of Vero Beach, Fla, Robert Polivka of Salisbury, Jan Polivka of Dover, De., Robert Amadon of Fairport, William Amadon of Essex, Joanne Wagoner of Hagerstown, MD., Lynne Lyon of Dolgeville and Brad Polivka of Rome. She was predeceased by her Brothers John, Steve, Harry and Archie Polivka and her nephews John Amadon and Rohn Polivka. In keeping with Mary?s wishes, there are No Calling Hours and services will be at the convenience of the family in the Salisbury Rural Cemetery in the Spring.vA memorial in her name may be sent to Parkside Courts 53 south Main Street Dolgeville, NY 13329.
