Mary A. (Gnidica) Knoblauch, 84, formerly of Rockton Plaza Apts., passed away on Tuesday morning, July 11, 2006, in Folts Homes, Herkimer, where she had been a resident for the past ten years. She was born on August 29, 1921, in Forest City, Pa., daughter of the late Jacob and Frances (Oster) Gnidica and was educated in Forest City schools. She has resided in Little Falls for over 50 years. Her last employment was with the former P & K Dress Factory and she was a communicant of Holy Family Parish, Little Falls. A beloved mother, grandmother, and aunt, Mary will be deeply missed by her family. Survivors include a daughter: Elizabeth M. Belknap and husband Willard of Central Square; a son: William Knoblauch of Florida, two grandchildren: Carolyn and Priscilla Belknap, a niece: Lois Elacqua and husband Vincent of Utica and a nephew: Albert Gnidica of Albany. She was predeceased by two brothers: Carl and Albert Gnidica. Relatives and friends are invited to visitation at the Enea Family Funeral Home, 24 W. Monroe St., Little Falls, on Saturday, July 15, 2006 from 11 a.m. until 12 p.m. Her funeral will begin at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday from the funeral home where prayer will be offered and 12:30 p.m. at Holy Family Parish, corner of E. Main and John Streets, Little Falls, where her Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by the Rev. Anthony Ligato, pastor. Procession will follow to St. Mary's Cemetery, town of Herkimer where she will be laid to rest. The family would like to offer their thanks to the entire staff at the Folts Homes, Herkimer, who for the past ten years tended to the needs of Mary with excellent care and professionalism.
