Mrs. Mary Cacciatore, 85, of 803 S. Frankfort St., Frankfort, loving wife of John Cacciatore, passed away on Wednesday, November 20, 2002, at Little Falls Hospital. She was born on January 2, 1917, in Frankfort, daughter of the late Peter and Vincencia (Sgro) Manno and received her education in Frankfort schools. Mary had been a lifelong resident of Frankfort. She was united in marriage with John Cacciatore on November 25, 1944, at St. Mary's Church in Frankfort, a devoted union of nearly 58 years. Mary last worked with Derby Sportswear in Herkimer as a seamstress. She was a dedicated member of Our Lady Queen of Apostle Church and a former member of the church altar rosary society. She attended the Frankfort Young at Heart Senior Citizens and was a former girl scout troop leader. She is survived by her family including her beloved husband John; her children, Rose Mary Myers and her husband Richard of Herkimer, Vincie Riddell and her husband Jon of Port Orange, Fla., and Joseph J. Cacciatore and his wife Lynda of Wappingers Falls; grandchildren, Lorie Gates and husband Roy, Jon A. Riddell II and wife Debbie, Catherine Cacciatore, Peter Cacciatore and Mary Cacciatore; great-grandchildren, Amanda Gates, Ashley Reed and Jon A. Riddell III; several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by a sister, Anna Feliciano, and brothers, Frank, Charles, Joseph and Sam Manno. Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial for Mary which will be celebrated on Friday, November 22, 2002, at 11 a.m. at Our Lady Queen of Apostle Church, Frankfort, with the Rev. John Yanas, pastor, officiating. Interment will follow in Mount Olivet Cemetery. There are no public calling hours. The family will receive relatives and friends in the vestibule of the church at the conclusion of them mass. The family wishes to extend their heartfelt thanks to the second floor of the Valley Health Service in Herkimer; the Little Falls Hospital, including Dr. Liu and John Wojdan, Dr. Patel of Central New York Cardiology, Dr. LaFont of Utica, special family friend Karen Miers and Floor 3A of St. Elizabeth's Hospital for the care and compassion offered.
