Marion M. Parese, of Little Falls passed away on Thursday evening, March 13, 2003 at Faxton Hospital, Utica. Marion was born in Dolgeville, a daughter of the late Patsy and Anna Elizabeth (Gallo) Parese. She was a graduate of St. Mary's Academy and lived in Dolgeville for many years but spent the greater part of her life in Little Falls. She was last employed with the former Palermo Metals where she held her position for 10 years and was also employed by General Electric of Utica at one time. She was a communicant of Holy Family Parish, Little Falls. Survivors include a brother Thomas Parese of Dolgeville, a brother in law, Patrick Caruso of Frankfort, a sister in law, Ida Parese of Herkimer, many special nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by four brothers, Frank Parese, Anthony Parese, Louie Parese and Patrick Parese, Sr., and two sisters, Josephine Caruso and Margaret Ciano. Calling hours at the Enea Funeral Home, 24 W. Monroe St., Little Falls will be held on Monday, March 17, 2003 from 5-8 p.m. Marion's funeral will commence at 9am on Tuesday morning, March 18 from the chapel of the funeral home where prayer will be offered by Sister Marilyn Hayes, CSJ thence to Holy Family Parish, corner of E. Main and John Streets where her Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:30 am by the Rev. Charles R. Celeste, pastor. Procession will follow to St. Mary's Cemetery, town of Herkimer where she will be laid to rest.
