IN LOVING MEMORY
UTICA - Marion B. Miller, originally of Utica, New York, passed away peacefully on May 6th, 2026, following a brief but courageous battle with cancer.
Marion was a devoted wife, mother, stepmother, and friend whose kindness, warmth, and quiet strength touched the lives of those around her. Born in Utica on July 28th, 1966, she was lovingly raised by her grandmother, Marion Cavoli, and her Uncle Dickie, whose love and guidance helped shape the caring woman she became.
She is survived by her loving husband, Michael E. Miller; her father Dave Knight her daughter, Theresa Cox; her stepson, Andy Michael Miller and his wife Erin of Ballston Spa; and her stepdaughter, Melissa (Miller) O’Reilly and her husband Chris of Schenectady, Grandchildren Owen O’Reilly, Keller and Chase Miller and Sophie Chute. She is also survived by several cousins, nieces, and nephews, as well as her beloved miniature pinschers, Sammy and Minnie, who brought her endless companionship and joy.
Marion was an excellent cook and will fondly be remembered for the delicious meals and special dishes she lovingly prepared for family and friends over the years. She found happiness in caring for others and creating moments that brought people together around the table.
Marion’s love, strength, and generous spirit will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved her.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday, May 11th, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Frankfort Center Cemetery where her family will gather for committal. There are no calling hours.
