Marion J. Jacoby, 84, a longtime Little Falls resident passed away on Saturday evening, January 1, 2005 in Little Falls Hospital. She was born on July 19, 1920 in Scranton, PA and received her education in Pennsylvania and Brooklyn, NY schools. She came to Little Falls in 1958. Marion was employed as a housekeeper by various doctors throughout Little Falls. Survivors include a daughter, Cassandra Brown and husband Jerald of New York Mills, two grandchildren, Michele Brown of Hope Mills, NC, and Michael Donahoe and fiance Joanna Rybicki of Foresport, two great grandchildren, David and Daniel Brown of North Carolina, a nephew Carl Jacoby, Jr. and wife Dottie of Gloueschester, VA and her beloved canine companion, Marty. She was predeceased by two brothers, Carl Jacoby and Harold Jacoby and her longtime companion William Meyer. In honoring Marion's wishes, there will be no public calling hours. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her Mass of Christian Burial which will commence at 10 am on Thursday, January 6, 2005 at St. Anthony of Padua Church, Onedia St., Chadwicks. The Rev. Edward Hayes will officiate. Kindly consider memorial offerings to Stevens-Swan Humane Society of Oneida County, 5664 Horatio Street, Utica, N.Y., 13502 or a humane society of your choice. For your convenience, envelopes will be available in the church vestibule on Thursday morning. The Enea Funeral Home, 24 W. Monroe St., Little Falls is serving the family.
