Maria Quattrini

LITTLE FALLS - Maria Quattrini, age 101, passed away peacefully on September 29th, 2025, at Brookdale Senior Living in Syracuse, New York.

She was born in Morolo, Italy, on January 13th, 1924, to Angelo Pietropaoli and Lucia Pistolesi. In 1926, the family relocated to Little Falls, NY where Maria was a life-long resident. She graduated from Little Falls High School as class salutatorian in 1941. After graduation, Maria married Ennio Quattrini on October 12, 1941, in St. Joseph’s Church. They were married 52 years until the passing of Ennio in 1993.

She is survived by her daughter MaryAnn Wright (James) of Waneta Lake, NY and Arizona; Joseph Quattrini (Dianne) of Little Falls; Henry Quattrini (Cindy) of Central Square, NY; and Tom Quattrini (Heather) of Newfane, NY. Maria was blessed with 9 grandchildren: Andrew Wright; Elissa Willoughby and Leslie Quattrini; Ian, Todd, and Corissa Quattrini; and Matthew, Maggie, and Mia Quattrini. Also surviving are 6 great grandchildren: Ava and Alex Wright; Orion and Julian Willoughby; Kimmy Quattrini; and Lucy Quattrini; one sister-in-law, Nancy Pietropaoli and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband, Ennio, and three brothers and two sisters-in-law: Richard (Kris), Angelo (Mary Lou), and Frank Pietropaoli.

In keeping with her wishes, her immediate family will hold a private graveside service to honor and remember Maria at Saint Mary’s Cemetery, town of Herkimer, New York. There will be no public calling hours.
