Marguerite Finch

ST. JOHNSVILLE- Marguerite Finch, 92 of Mill Rd, entered into eternal rest on Saturday May 23, 2009 at Mohawk Valley Nursing Home. She was born on June 21, 1916 in Oppenheim, NY, daughter of the late Lewis and Rose ( Hart) Walrath. She was united in marriage with John Floyd Finch on January 15, 1938. Marguerite was last employed as a clerk for the Oppenheim and Ephratah Schools. She also worked for the Courier Standard Enterprise. She was very proud of the fact that she was a farmers wife and she loved geneaolgy and recording cemeteries. Survivors include several cousins and nephews especially her nephew Thomas Miles and his wife Evelyn of Ephratah. She is predeceased by her sister Millie. In keeping with Marguerite's wishes there will be no calling hours. Her cremains will be buried with her beloved husband John on Saturday June 6, 2009 at 11am at West Saint Johnsville Cemetery. The service will be for family and friends with the Rev. Clark Tooley of Dolgeville officiating.
