Marcia L. Crossett, 56, of Herkimer and formerly of Newport, passed away, May 18, 2012, at her home.
She was born January 8, 1956 in Ilion, the daughter of the late Gloria Perkett Perry and was educated in Ilion school. Marcia was employed with Burger King, Herkimer.
Marcia is survived by her sons and daughter-in-law, Christopher and Anne Perry, Sr., of Cassville and Matthew Crossett of Herkimer; her grandson, Christopher Perry, Jr., of Cassville; her sisters, Rebecca DeForrest and her fiance´e, Les Hosler of Mohawk, Patricia and Dale Janes of Herkimer, Pamela Klayer of Ohio and MariLeigh and John Filipczuk of Herkimer; her brother, Albert D. Perry of Herkimer; her special nieces, Allison DeForrest and Danielle Perry and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister, Cynthia M. Perry earlier this year.
Marcia's funeral will be held on Thursday, May 24, 2012, 9:30am from the Enea Family Funeral Home, 220 N. Washington St., Herkimer with Rev. Thomas Lawless, officiating. Interment will be made in Calvary Cemetery, Herkimer following her services. Relatives and friends are invited to pay their at the funeral home on Wednesday May 23, 2012, from 5-7pm.
