MOHAWK: Louise Luke, 88, passed away on Monday morning, March 28th, 2016 with the love and support of her family.
Born in Bloomingdale, NJ on December 11, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Lillian (Pool) Gould. On July 25, 1943, she married Richard R. Luke; the couple sharing 70 years of love and commitment toward each other. Louise happily spent her life as a wife, mother of three and homemaker; keeping an immaculate home always welcome to the visit of family and friends.
She is survived by a son, David J. Luke and wife Carol of the Town of Warren; 8 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; 2 great great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Richard R. Luke and sons, Richard C. Luke and Gary E. Luke and a granddaughter, Allison Luke.
In keeping with Louise's wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no public calling hours. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Enea Family Funeral Home, 220 N. Washington Street, (F.K.A. Holleran Funeral Service) Herkimer, NY (315) 866-1011.
The Luke Family is being cared for and guided by Harry J. and Kevin E. Enea, Funeral Directors.
