Lois S. Kast

HERKIMER – Lois Kast, 87, passed away suddenly on July 11, 2018. She was born September 11, 1930 in Jermyn, Pennsylvania, a daughter to the late William and Helen (Morcom) Sohns.

She was a graduate of Herkimer High School. She was married to Robert “Scotty” Kast and he died April 20, 1996. She is survived by her children Rhonda Higgins and Judy Spuhler and husband Phil, grandchildren, Nicole Gallegos and husband Dylan, Billie Jo Koushkouski and husband Mike, and Brittany Spuhler, great grandchildren, Kane, Mikala, and Sam and many nieces, nephews and cousins and a sister-in-law, Iva Kast. She was predeceased by her husband and baby daughter Lyndell.

Funeral service is Monday July 16, 2018 at 1:00 PM at Enea Family Funeral Home, 220 North Washington Street in Herkimer. Calling hours are 11AM until the service time. Interment to follow, Oak Hill Cemetery, Herkimer. Please consider a donation in her memory to American Heart Association.
