Linda L. Case

ST. JOHNSVILLE - Mrs. Linda L. Case, age 65, of State Route 5, town of St. Johnsville, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday afternoon, March 4th, 2025, at SUNY Upstate Medical Center accompanied by her family at her bedside.

She was born on January 17th, 1960, daughter of Mr. And Mrs. Allan and Norma Jean (Van Allen) Edmunds. She graduated from Little Falls High School “Class of 1978”. On July 19, 2001, Linda was united in marriage with Fred M. Case at the St. John’s Reformed Church with Rev. Lisa Vanderwall, officiating. Fred passed away December 27th, 2021.

Linda was an LPN at Palatine Nursing home until her retirement from working in 2010. She loved and cared for the residents as if her own family and nursing was one of her greatest sources of happiness in her life, and the many friendships were forged during her years there.

Linda was a devout follower in Christ and her church family was extremely important to her. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, especially going to dinner with her ladies on Fridays. She also deeply loved her chihuahuas over the years.

Linda is survived by her children Jessica and husband Allen Replogle, Tiffany and husband Mike Nitka, and Kyle Fraser and fiancé Sadie Coffey. She was also survived by her siblings Allan and Joy Edmunds, Cynthia and Philip Barker, Bernard and Linda Edmunds, and Donald and Yukari Edmunds. Linda was predeceased by her brother Leland Edmunds who is survived by his wife Cindy Edmunds. She had many nieces and nephews and grandchildren whom she loved immensely and was very proud of.

Funeral services are to be determined but tentatively planned for Saturday May 17th, 2025, at 10:00 am at St. John’s Reformed Church, 68 West Main Street in St. Johnsville. A procession to the graveside at St. Johnsville Cemetery will take place for the graveside services, and then a return to the St John’s Reformed Church where a celebration of life will commence.
