ILION – Linda R. Burton, 77, of West River Street, Ilion, passed away, February 15, 2024, in Herkimer, New York.
She was born November 21, 1946, in Herkimer, New York, the daughter of George and Sarah (McCloskey) Howard. She attended local schools and worked at Brian’s Deli and Quackenbush, in Herkimer. She loved sports and the Turning Stone.
Linda was dearly loved by her family, including her companion, Don Burton; her children, Linda Burton and Kristi Smith; her brother, Terry Howard; her grandchildren, Richard R. Prentice (Kayle), Justin Prentice (Ashley), Joshua Smith (Cynthia), Shelby Davis and Ashton Davis; her great-grandchildren, Alayna, Bentley, Selena, JJ and Liam and extended family.
She was predeceased by her parents; and her brother, George Howard, Jr.

Graveside Services will be held at Mountain View Memorial Gardens, Town of Little Falls.
