NELLISTON – Mrs. Lillian C. Billings, 88, of Nellis Street, Nelliston, New York, passed away comfortably, on Thanksgiving morning, Thursday, November 24, 2022, at St. Johnsville Rehabilitation & Nursing, in St. Johnsville, New York.
She was born October 2, 1934, in Saratoga Springs, New York, a daughter of the late Frank and Mildred (Fitzgerald) Ramsey. She attended school in Saratoga Springs. Her husband, Earl Billings, died in 2010. She enjoyed crocheting many beautiful pieces from table covers to blankets. She loved the long rides in the country and dancing to some swinging music. She worked for a short time in her youth as a waitress, at the Saratoga diner.
Survivors include brothers, Larry Ramsey and Joseph Ramsey. Sisters include Norma Miller, Gloria Ramsey and Viola Monroe; a daughter, Judy Aker, of Nelliston; a Son, Donald (Zora) Bateholts; grandchildren, Christina Russell, Garry Sweet, Donald Bateholts, Teela Santiago and Charles Bateholts; great- grandchildren, Emily Russell, Leon Sweet, Florence Sweet, Isabella sweet, Bellamy Bateholts, Leo Bateholts, Zackery Brashears, Lenexa Brashears, Gatlin Brashears, Crimson Brashears and Defiance Brashears.
Predeceased are Lester Ramsey, Albert Ramsey, Robert Ramsey, Earl Billings, Betty King, Timothy Sweet and Ed Aker.
Funeral services will take place in the form of spring interment, 2023, at Gallupville Rural Cemetery, Town of Wright, in Schoharie County.
Her funeral arrangements are with the Enea Family Funeral Home, 9 Center Street, in St. Johnsville, NY, Funeral Directors Harry J. and Kevin E. Enea and Martin L. Ciaccia (518) 568-2300.
