MOHAWK – Leroy L. Frasier (Jake) from the womb to the tomb, 91 yrs. 3 mo. 15 days. Born, as most would say, to be a farmer, all of his life.
Blessed with a wife and seven children in his youth. His loving wife of 62 yrs. being Caroline M. (LaValley) Frasier. She predeceased him in April of 2011. The seven children born to them were twins Brian and Blair, Brenda, Beverly, David, Jeff and Robin.
He was predeceased by two children, daughter Robin in 1970 and son Jeffery in 1979. At present Brian and wife Charlotte, Blair, Brenda and husband Tom,
He was the oldest brother of Cy, Guy, George and Harvey and little sister Marion Alkinburgh. Two sisters who predeceased him were Eleanor Monk and Ina Nearbin.
Brother, Father, Grandpa, Great Grandpa and Great Great Grandpa too. As he would often say, “I have close to fifty in all.” Now Jake, as we knew him, resides at a new address, living in glory. Heaven is his new home.
As God’s word says, we do not sorrow as others who have no hope, so until then Dad, we will miss you.
He was a longtime member of Little Falls First Baptist Church, where he was a former Deacon and Trustee, a Sunday School Superintendent and Adult Class Sunday School Teacher.
