Leona Young

Mrs. Leona ?Lee? K. Young 80 of Apartment F6 Valley View Courts Little Falls went to be with the Lord on Saturday morning June 27, 2009 after a brief illness. She was born in Herkimer on October 16, 1928 the daughter of Mervin and Pearl (Youker) King and received her education in Stratford School, graduating in the Class of 1946. She continued her education at the Boston School of Nursing receiving a diploma as a medical assistant. Her marriage to Russell L. Young took place on May 28, 1947 in the Dolgeville Presbyterian Church. Mr. Young predeceased her on April 5, 1996. Lee was employed by the Little Falls Hospital and area doctor?s offices, retiring in 1990 She was a member of the Oppenheim Senior Citizens, and personally enjoyed reading and attending garage sales. Surviving her are a Son and his wife Kirk and Diane Young of Little Falls, her daughters and their husbands Russeen and David Boulden of Cold Brook and Maureen and Ward Seeley of Little Falls, her grandchildren Heather Young, Ryan Young, David Collis, Kim Mussmacker, Theresa Seeley and Ward Seeley, her great Grandchildren Sarah, Seth, Hanna, Chloie, Charli Rose, Christien, Ashlynne, Dalton Ray and Aleeha. Calling hours are Today (Monday) from 5-8 PM at the Roberts & Enea Family Funeral Home 3 Faville Avenue Dolgeville. Burial will be in Mt.
