Leigh Perkins

Leigh Scott Perkins, 56 of 5673 State Highway 29A Stratford died unexpectedly on Friday December 3, 2004 at his residence of natural causes. Leigh was born in Troy, New York on June 4, 1948 the son Claire Farnum of Stratford and the late Ford E. Perkins, and attended Stratford school. He was previously married to Kathleen Perkins who resides in Iowa. He was last employed by the O.B. Construction Company of Amsterdam, NY. Leigh enjoyed playing his guitar, along with watching TV programs and caring for his dog "Gypsy". He is survived by a son Eric Perkins of Brooklyn, NY; his mother Claire; his stepmother Marie Perkins of Stratford; his brothers David Perkins of Stratford, Raymond Perkins of Utah; a sister Dorothy Perkins of Stratford; a brother in law Clarence Gray; a sister in law Sabrina; his nephews Ford Perkins and Scott Perkins both of Stratford, Sean Perkins of Texas; his nieces Brenda Pollard and Heather Perkins both of Stratford, Tasha Cooney of Fla. and Corrina Perkins of Texas. A celebration of his life will be on Saturday December 11, 2004 at 1 PM at the home of David and Sabrina Perkins Co. Rd. 119, Stratford, NY. Friends and family are invited. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Roberts-Buck Funeral Home, 3 Faville Ave., Dolgeville, NY.
