Laura L. Mathisen, age 61, of North Washington Street in Herkimer, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, May 11, 2022 in the privacy and comfort of her home.
Born in Utica on September 17, 1960, Laura was the daughter of the late Richard and Joan (DeMott) Mayhew. She was raised and educated locally.
On May 12, 2000, Laura was married to William R. Mathisen and together they shared in a blessed union of twenty-two years.
Laura was a diehard Buffalo Bills; she never missed a game and even operated her own online fan site!
Survivors include her husband, Bill; her sons, Barry and Richard Morgan; her beloved dog, Koba, and beloved cat, Gunny.
In keeping with Laura’s wishes, there will be no formal funeral services. Final arrangements have been entrusted to the Enea Family Funeral Home, 220 North Washington Street, Herkimer, NY (315) 866-1011, Harry and Kevin Enea and Martin L. Ciaccia, Funeral Directors.
