Larry M. Morehouse

ILION – Calling hours for Larry M. Morehouse, age 74, of Ilion, New York, will be held Saturday, June 27, 2020, from 10AM until 1:00 PM, at the Enea Family Funeral Home, 220 North Washington Street, in Herkimer, NY. At 1:00 PM we will conclude the calling hours with a brief family prayer.

Larry passed away Friday afternoon, June 19, 2020, in the privacy and comfortable surroundings of the FoltsBrook Center, in Herkimer, New York. Larry had his loving family at his side and he received wonderful care while living at FoltsBrook.

Surviving are his beloved family, his children, Tammi Netti and her husband, Mark, of Herkimer, Helena Mead and her husband, Larry, of North Carolina and Jon Morehouse and his wife, Jacki, of Ilion; siblings, Debbie, Bonnie, Claudia, Terry “Shotgun,” and Gilbert; grandchildren, Dylan Morehouse and his wife, Brenda, Brianna Morehouse, April Netti, Samantha Netti and Mark Netti, Lane Mead, Luke Mead and Liam Mead, Alice Morehouse and Landon Morehouse; and nieces, nephews & cousins.

He was predeceased by his parents, Claude and Beaulah (Moores) Morehouse; a son, James Morehouse; sisters, Betty, Kathy and Kelly; and his brothers, Jeff, Arnold, Peanut and his twin brother, Gary

Larry was born on February 8, 1946, in Brant Lake, New York and attended schools there. He became an excellent Barrel Polisher at Remington Arms in Ilion, where he worked and lived for 30 plus years. Larry was an avid hunter and outdoorsman. He loved old westerns, the Adirondack region and his sweet and precious grandchildren above all else.
