LITTLE FALLS – Kurt H. Florian, Jr., 77, passed away in the comfort of his home, Town of Fairfield, New York, on August 2, 2024, with his loving family at his side.
He was born on August 21, 1946, in Little Falls, New York, eldest son of the late Kurt H., Sr. and Thelma H. (Miller) Florian. Kurt honorably served our country with the United States Army, Vietnam Era. He was united in marriage to his lifelong love, Marie E. Rockwell, in Middleville, New York, on February 3, 1968. This union lasted over 57 years. Our fondest memories include his love of fishing, going to camp and the special attention he gave to his grandchildren.
He is survived by his beloved family: his wife, Marie; his children, Kurt H. Florian, III “Bucky,” Karie L. Florian and Scott Bacon (Gilley); his grandchildren, Brittney Florian (Josh Darling), Kurt H. Florian, IV (Melissa), Kyle Fuller, Shelby Pula (Michael), Kayla Bacon, Adriane Dekdebrun and Camryn Bacon; and several great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and in-laws.
He was predeceased by his parents; his son, Rex Allen Florian; his brothers, Robert, Russell, Keith; and his sister, Cindy.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, August 8, 2024, at 10:00 a.m., at the Enea Family Funeral Home, 24 West Monroe Street, in Little Falls, New York, with Rev. Mark Hediger, officiating. Interment will follow the Funeral Home Service, at Middleville Cemetery, where full military honors will be conferred.
Calling Hours at the funeral home, on Monroe Street, in Little Falls, New York, will be held on Wednesday, August 7, 2024, from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend Calling Hours and the Funeral Services, on the following day.
