Kimberly E. Nevins

ILION – Kimberly “Kim” E. Nevins, age 52, of John St., passed away peacefully on Friday, December 8, 2017, at Faxton-St. Luke’s Healthcare, New Hartford.

She was born on December 5, 1965, in Rochester , NY , the daughter of William and Kathleen (Storke) Moore.  Kim was employed as a Home Health Aide at Self Direct, Baldwinsville.  Kim was a devoted mother.

Surviving family members include her sons, Matthew Nolan and Nikolas Bastion, with whom she resided in Ilion; her mother, Kathleen Nolan and her husband, David, of Honeoye , NY ; her best friend, Vanessa Dennis and her children, Devon Flannagan and Seth Dennis, who Kim considered her children also, since she helped raise Seth and Devon .  She was predeceased by her father.

Kim’s Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, December 15, 2017, at 3:00 p.m., at the Applegate-Day & Enea Family Funeral Home’s larger facility location at 4309 Acme Rd. (old Main St. ) between Ilion and Frankfort .  Visitation will be held Friday, from 2:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., at the funeral home, prior to the Celebration of Life.
