Kevin L. Forcier

Mr. Kevin L. Forcier, age 62, passed away on July 28, 2026, at Albany Medical Center with his loving wife at his side, holding his hand. 

He was born in Bridgeport, CT on May 17, 1964. He was a son of Rene L. and Doris J. (Brochu) Forcier, he lived in Oxford, CT most of his life, until his marriage to Sharon A. Przygoda at Southford Falls on September 21, 1996. In March of 1997, Kevin and Sharon moved to their dream farm in Oppenheim, NY. 

Kevin was a big, quiet, kind, gentle man who was generous with his time and talents. He was always first to lend a hand to anyone in need. Kevin was a certified scuba diver; he used this knowledge and training to assist in several water rescues when part of a volunteer fire department in Connecticut. He was a member of the Hilltop Volunteer Fire Company in Dolgeville, NY, where he was nicknamed "Fur" for his trademarked beard. Kevin worked as a mechanic for Obreza Trucking, the Town of Oppenheim, and the Oppenheim-Ephrata Central School, before becoming disabled in 2010. 

He is survived by his beloved wife Sharon Forcier who will miss him dearly and their little dog "Thumbelina" who held a large place in Kevin's heart, as well as several relatives and friends. 

There will be no formal services for Kevin. His wife and family will honor his life privately, in a way that means the most to them.
