Kenneth Laplante

Mr. Kenneth J. LaPlante 76 of 90 Lincoln Street Gloversville a former Dolgeville resident died Wednesday July 20, 2005 at his residence after an extended illness. He was born in Albany, on March 17, 1929, the son of Harry J. and Jean Beadle, and attended Tryon Schools. Ken was employed by the Pan American Leathers Inc. of Gloversville, retiring from there in 1981. A Veteran of the United States Army he attained the rank of PFC before being honorably discharged from the service. He personally enjoyed fishing, camping and traveling with his family. Surviving are his children, Kenneth R. LaPlante with whom he lived, David Hayes of Gloversville, Marlene Johnson of Gloversville, Melody Frasier of Gloversville, his Grandchildren- Tazlynn, Tabitha, Brandon, Kassandra, Roland, Derrick, Tia, Nati, Ashanti and Amber. Funeral services will be held Saturday July 23, 2005 at 11 AM at the Roberts & Enea Funeral Home 3 Faville Avenue Dolgeville. Burial will follow in the Dolgeville Cemetery.
