Kathleen C. "Kathy" Soja

HERKIMER – Mrs. Kathleen C. "Kathy" Soja, 65, of Herkimer , NY , passed away with her loving family and friends by her side, on Monday, April 1, 2019, in Herkimer , NY . She was born on January 27, 1954, in Utica , NY , the daughter of the late Chuck Doris, Sr. and Ruth (Linebeck) Files. She was the sister of Donna Walker, Debbie Rocco, Stella Moore, Kelly Lafleur, Chuck Doris and John Doris. She has been a resident of the Herkimer area for many years. She attended Utica schools. 

Throughout the years, Kathleen worked with Mohawk Valley Country Club in Little Falls as well as the Little Falls NYS Thruway Exchange. She married James L. "Jimmy" Soja on September 2, 2000, a union that lasted with 18 very happy years. Kathy and Jimmy had a great love of one another and were dedicated caregivers to their family. 

She loved Elvis music too! Kathy is survived by her beloved husband, Jimmy. Kathleen was blessed with two daughters and James was blessed with two stepdaughters, Quita Graves and Bonita Graves. Kathleen had four grandchildren and three great- grandchildren, whom she loved very much. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 17, 2019, at 3:00 PM, from The Enea Family Funeral Home, 220 North Washington Street , in Herkimer , New York .
