GRANDMOTHER OF ELIJAH SNYDER
ST. JOHNSVILLE – A beautiful soul, Katherine Talarico, passed away after blessing her family with 61 years of life on April 24th, 2025, at Nathan Littauer Hospital in Gloversville, New York. She lived on West Main Street in St. Johnsville, New York.
Kathy was born on July 6th, 1963, in Little Falls, New York, to her parents, the late Fayette C. Snyder and Addie Warner (Smith).
Her daughter survives, Kathy Stockigt (son-in-law, Chris Stockigt, deceased).
Her sons survive, Jacob Vogel, Matthew Mickel, & Adam Snyder (Theresa Snyder).
Also surviving are her stepchildren, Zach Wall, James Wall, and Jessica Wall, her lifelong partner of 22 years, Robert Wall (until his passing away in the year 2014), her boyfriend of 10 years, Aaron Looman, and her grandchildren, Dalen, Alexander, Elijah (deceased 4-23-25), Landen, Maddie, Malachi, Stephen, Jordyn, Bailey, Marylinn, Airalana, Elliiaz, Bradyn, Cheynne, Breanna, Joshua, and Joseph.
Surviving family is additionally inclusive to her siblings, brothers, Raymond Snyder, Ralph Snyder, Dennis Snyder, and Donald Snyder (deceased), and sisters, Carolyn Reid, Joann Montana (David Montana, deceased), and Donna Lundy (Donavan Lundy), as well as multiple nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The following was lovingly expressed by Katherine’s family: “She was a wonderful mother, daughter, girlfriend, grandmother, aunt, or friend. She had a heart of gold and would do anything for anyone. She was an animal lover and treated all her animals as if they were her babies. She worked at Liberty making toys, and at Lexington for twenty plus years and retired in 1996. Katherine was loved by many. She adored her flowers, especially roses. She had a passion for doing crafts and loved horses and dream catchers. She will be missed by many and will never be forgotten.”
Funeral services for Katherine Talarico and her grandson, Baby Elijah will be held on Tuesday May 6th, 2025, at 1:00 PM at The Enea & Ciaccia Family Funeral Home, 4309 Acme Road in Ilion, New York, with Rev. Rob Bormann officiating.
Relatives and friends are invited to a calling hour prior to the services on Tuesday from 12:00 Noon until 1:00 PM and attend the services that follow at the funeral home.
