Katherine "Kate" Bobak

Katherine Bobak, 94, a lifetime resident of Little Falls, passed away on Friday, May 22, 2009 in Van Allen's Nursing Home. Miss Bobak was born on April 11, 1915 and lived at 585 E. John Street until her later years, when she moved to Rockton Plaza and then to Van Allen?s Nursing Home. She was active in the Ukrainian Association and was a devoted member of Holy Family Parish in Little Falls. She was a long time member of AARP. Katherine worked for many years at Felt Shoe Company. Miss Bobak was preceded in death by her parents, Max and Eva Bobak; her brothers, Joseph, John and Walter; and her sister, Helen. She is survived by her sister, Millie Bobak Swain of Columbus, Ohio; and nephews, James Worley of Roswell, NM, David Worley of Palm Coast, FL, Walter Worley of Hollywood Park, TX, Scott Swain of Knoxville, TN; and numerous great-nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may pay their respects at Enea Family Funeral Home, 24 W. Monroe Street, Little Falls from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm on Wednesday, May 27, 2009. The funeral service will commence at 10:00 am on Thursday, May 28 at the funeral home, with interment to follow at St. Mary?s Cemetery, town of Herkimer. All are also invited in her honor for lunch following the burial at Little Falls Knight?s Inn. Donations in her name may be made to Holy Family Parish; envelopes may be obtained at the funeral parlor.
