Julia Whitaker

Julia Whitaker, 53, of 218 Keyser Lake Road, Dolgeville, passed away on Monday, Sept. 30, 2002 at Little Falls Hospital. She was born March 22, 1949 in Queens, daughter of the late Thurman and Freda (Kasmann) Whitaker. Julia attended the Lexington Day Treatment Center in Oppenheim. Survivors include her sister, Barbara Coelho of California, and many friends and staff of the Lexington Center. In keeping with Julia's wishes, cremation took place under the direction of the Smith-Woody and Enea Funeral Home. Friends and relatives are invited to attend a memorial service on Friday, Oct. 4 at 11 a.m. at the Smith-Woody and Enea Funeral Home, 9 Center St., St. Johnsville with Reverend Michael Yezierski, pastor of St. Johnsville United Methodist Church officiating. Interment will take place at Evergreen Memorial Park in Mercel, Calif. at the convenience of the family. Visitation will be on Friday morning at 10 a.m. until the time of the services at the funeral home.
