MOHAWK- Mrs. Joyce R. Case, 84, of Purdy Rd., passed away on July 20, 2011 at her home with her loving family at her side.
She was born on January 22, 1927, in Ilion, daughter of the late Earl and Bertha (Freeman) Robertson. She was predeceased by her husband George Case who passed away in 2002.
She was a farmer's wife who for years was a tour guide at Hyde Hall in Cooperstown. Joyce enjoyed camping, reading, crosswords and playing cards with her family.
Joyce leaves behind her 5 children: Andrea and Frank Bodine of Ontario, Allen and Joan Case of Mohawk, Cynthia and Joey Kenyon of Mohawk, Melanie and William Steffen of Mohawk and Valerie and Rich Becker of Mohawk and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. She also leaves behind her faithful dog Sammi.
In keeping with Joyce's wishes there are no calling hours. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
