Mr. Joseph Valencourt Jr., age 62, of State Route 5, passed away on Wednesday, February 5, 2014 at the VA Hospital in Syracuse after a lengthy illness.
Born in Utica on June 3, 1951, Joe was the son of the late Joseph and Emiline (Yaghy) Valencourt. He was raised and educated locally, after which he joined the United States Army and faithfully served his country in Vietnam.
Survivors include his son, Matthew Valencourt; and his sister, Diane Webber.
