Joseph Paracka

Joseph T. Paracka, 26 a life long Mohawk Valley resident passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday April 26, 2006. He was born December 27, 1979 in Albany, NY the son of Laura Lee Paracka Grainer and the late Joseph Healey who passed away on September 15, 1979. Joe was educated in Canajoharie & Little Falls schools. He was employed at Cole Muffler in Herkimer. Mr. Paracka was of the Presbyterian faith. Joe was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying 4-wheeling, dirt biking and snowmobiling. He was also an active sportsman who enjoyed football and wrestling. Survivors include his mother Laura Grainer of St. Johnsville and step-father, John Grainer, Jr., of Herkimer, his great grand grandparents, Anne Paracka of Little Falls, & Dorothy Danks of Watertown, his grandparents, Nancy & Tim Herchenroder of Northville, & Mary Lou Grainer of Little Falls, a son, Kyle Joseph Paracka of Ilion, his daughters, Kaitlyn Paige & Keristin Paige Paracka both of Mohawk, a brother, John R. Grainer, III of North Carolina, a sister, Sarah K. Grainer of St. Johnsville, and a half sister, Shannon Grainer, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, & nephews. Funeral services will be held on Monday May 1, 2006 at 10:00 am from the Enea Family Funeral Home, 24 W. Monroe St., Little Falls, NY with Reverend R.W. Williams, of Mt. Valley Hospice, officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary?s Cemetery, Town of Herkimer. Friends and relatives may call at the funeral home on Sunday April 30, 2006 from 5-7 pm.
