Joseph Lints

Joseph D. Lints Sr., age 92, formerly of Brookfield and Utica, passed away Saturday, March 26, 2005, following a brief illness in Richmond, Virginia, where he currently resided. Joseph was born March 24, 1913 in Clayville. He was predeceased by his first wife, Lillian (Nichols) with whom he raised three sons, Joseph and Edward Lints, both of Utica, and Robert Lints who passed away in 2003. He later married Frances (Askham), raising a son, James D. Lints of Durhamville; and a stepdaughter, Virginia Williams of Richmond, VA. He also leaves many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews; and his special friend, Frank Guidice. Joseph was predeceased by his sister, Adelia Maydole; brothers, David and George Lebert and Edward M. Lints. Family and friends are invited to calling hours Thursday from 4-7 p.m. at the Applegate & Day Funeral Home, 102 West St., Ilion. Mr. Lints' funeral service will be held Friday commencing at 12 Noon at the Applegate & Day Funeral Home, Ilion. Interment will take place in Armory Hill Cemetery. "Grandpa, you are now with Grandma.
