John Patruska

John Frank Patruska, 53, a long time St. Johnsville resident, passed away on Tuesday September 7, 2004 at St. Mary?s Hospital, Amsterdam. He was born November 17, e1950 in Little Falls the son of the late Anthony A. & Gladys (Polinski) Patruska. John was a graduate of St. Johnsville High School. Mr. Patruska was a Vietnam veteran, enlisting on May 14, 1970 and was honorably discharged on March 3, 1972 with the rank of SP4. While serving his county John received the following medals; National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal & Vietnam Campaign Medal with 60 device. For 16 years, John worked for Beech-nut in Canajoharie. He was a member of St. Patrick?s Church in St. Johnsville. John was a loving and caring brother who was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying fishing and hunting. Survivors include his sister; Barbara Patruska of St. Johnsville, 4 brothers; Gary Patruska of St. Johnsville,, Donald Patruska of Fonda, Mark Patruska of Utica, & Thomas Patruska of Camden, an aunt Anna Bauer of St. Johnsville, and many cousins. Funeral services will be held on Friday September 10, 2004 at 10:00 am at St. Patrick?s Church in St. Johnsville where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Interment will be in St. Johnsville Cemetery. There are no calling hours. Arrangement are by the Smith ? Woody and Enea Funeral Home, 9 Center St., St. Johnsville, NY.
