John Miklitsch

DOLGEVILLE-Mr. John Miklitsch, 88, formerly of Dolgeville, a recent resident of Residential Healthcare Facility (Little Falls Hospital) passed away on Friday, December 12, 2008 at that facility. He was born on September 12, 1920 in Podpreska, Yugoslavia son of the late Anton and Mary (Schager) Miklitsch. He was united in marriage to Albine Ferditch on July 6, 1952 in St. Joseph?s Church, Dolgeville. Mrs. Miklitsch passed away on September 4, 1996. Mr. and Mrs. Miklitsch owned and operated their family tree farm on Sweet Hill Road in the town of Oppenheim for several years. He was a member of St. Joseph?s Catholic Church, Dolgeville. Mr. Miklitsch leaves a cousin: Edward Wesley and wife Carol of Dolgeville. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife and by his brother Anton. There is no public visitation. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend his Mass of Christian Burial which will commence at 11am on Tuesday, December 16, 2008 from St. Joseph?s Church, Dolgeville with the Rev. Leo Potvin, pastor officiating. He will be laid to rest in the spring in St. Joseph Cemetery, Dolgeville. The Roberts & Enea Family Funeral Home of Dolgeville is assisting the family with arrangements.
