John Filippi

John J. Filippi, 75, of Little Falls, passed away on Wednesday evening, April 20, 2005 in Little Falls Hospital, following an extended illness. Mr. Filippi was born on May 29, 1929 in Brooklyn, NY a son of the late Joseph and Mary (Wandell) DiFilippi and was educated in Brooklyn schools. He settled in the Little Falls area in 1970 and owned and operated John Filippi Plumbing and Heating. John was an accomplished carpenter and could fix just about anything. He was known to many as a "jack of all trades." He will be dearly missed but not forgotten by his beloved children: Jason Filippi of Little Falls, George Atkinson of Little Falls, and Jessica Gault and husband Jason also of Little Falls; his grandchildren: Brandon Filippi, Jason Gallt, Jr., Collon Gallt, Zachary Atkinson; a brother: Vincent DiFilippi and wife Mary of Brooklyn, nieces, nephews family friends and a good friend: Rosemary Atkinson. The family will gather privately at the Enea Family Funeral Home, 24 W. Monroe St., Little Falls to say goodbye. Interment will be held at the convenience of the family in Church St. Cemetery, Little Falls.
