John Henry Carr

HERKIMER – Mr. John Henry Carr, age 70, passed away peacefully at Faxton St. Luke’s Healthcare, Town of New Hartford, New York.

On the morning of September 17th, 2020, John left us to be reunited with his mother and other loved ones. He will be missed by his wife, Josephine Finley; his children, Rosie (Honie) Blanchard, John Carr Jr., Lisa (Jeremy) Cook, Rachel Wisner, Gordon and Matthew Carr-Wisner, Debra Wisner and Kimberly Wisner. He also leaves behind his grandchildren, Michael Wisner, Paige Cook, Danielle Wisner, Sky Wisner, Braxton Wisner, Mark Carr and Melody Carr.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 24, 2020, at 11:00 AM, at the Enea & Ciaccia Family Funeral Home, 4309 Acme Road, Ilion, New York, (Town of Frankfort) with Deacon James Bower, officiating. Internment will take place in North Columbia Cemetery, where he will be laid to rest. There is a very special calling hour for John that will be held one hour prior to the funeral service, at the funeral home, on Thursday morning, from 10 until 11AM. Relatives and friends are also invited to attend the funeral service and the interment service to follow. If you plan to attend the funeral service, a face mask will be required.
