John Anderson

RICHFIELD SPRINGS - John E. Anderson, 77, formerly of Richfield Springs and Warren, died Thursday, April 2, 2009, at the Masonic Care Community, Utica. He was born Sept. 21, 1931, the son of Charles Vincent and Sarah (Green) Anderson. He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict, serving in the U.S. Marines. Survivors include his brother, Fred Anderson, of Richfield Springs; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his brothers, George Goodwin and Charles Anderson Jr. Friends and relatives are invited to attend John's memorial service at 5 p.m., Tuesday, April 7, at the Applegate-Day & Enea Family Funeral Home, 102 West St., Ilion, with the Rev. Robert Wollaber officiating. A visitation hour will precede the service at 4 p.m. at the funeral home. Spring interment will be in Oak View Cemetery, Frankfort.
