HERKIMER – Mr. John D. Adams, age 76, a lifelong Herkimer resident, passed away at his home at Foltsbrook, in Herkimer, on Thursday morning, July 15, 2021. He received wonderful care there which was very much appreciated.
He was born July 14, 1945, in Herkimer, New York, son of the late Donald and Isabel (Pettit) Adams. He was a graduate of Herkimer High School, ‘Class of 1963.’ He at one time worked with Mohawk Data Sciences and was lastly a clerk with Bank of America, Utica, New York.
He is survived by his family: a brother, Ted Adams, of Ilion; and his sisters and brother-in-law, Jean O’Connell, of Herkimer and Judy Higgins and her husband, John, of Herkimer.
He was predeceased by his parents; brothers, Don, Bob and Tom; and a sister, Nancy.
All arrangements are private and were made at the convenience of the family with the Enea Family Funeral Home, 220 North Washington Street, in Herkimer, New York, under the direction of Funeral Directors Harry J. Enea, Jr., Kevin E. Enea and Martin L. Ciaccia (315) 866-1011.
